“Mullenweg Syndrome”

The following is a list of posts on this blog that have been hacked with some information removed/altered.

Note: The breaches were accidentally discovered. Moderators have not yet audited the posts systematically.

• Dubai: Eco Disaster Topped with Cheese and Money Melt [Missing information reinstated on April 18, 2011.]
• Google’s Top 10 List of ‘Holy Cows’  This post was hacked. Correct information was reinstated on January 22, 2010.
  

We have emailed the following message to Matt Mullenweg, the WordPress Founder, on April 18, 2011 and would publish his response, if any, on this page:

Accidentally discovered that the following page on Fire-Earth blog had been hacked, with a photo deleted and the last two paragraphs removed:

Judging by the fact that WordPress has disabled ‘tags’ and ‘categories’ at an affiliated blog:

FIRE-EARTH team strongly suspects that the hacking on this blog too was done by WordPress/ a WordPress employee, [most probably for financial gains.]

We would like an explanation from you before contacting ALL other WordPress users.

Previous Known Breaches by Mr Mullenweg

In April 2005, having been caught red-handed by Andrew Baio, Mullenweg admitted accepting  a large volume of questionable advertisements using a technique known as cloaking.
