Plosky Tolbachik Volcano
The massive, flat-topped, 3,085-m Plosky Tolbachik Volcano (55°49’N, 160°24’E) last erupted in 1975-76. The cleaver-edged volcano to the left is Ostry Tolbachik. “The 1975-76 eruption from the summit and south-flank fissures was the largest historical basaltic eruption in Kamchatka.” Source: KVERT.
