Feckless Russians Veto U.N. Resolution on Srebrenica Genocide

Russia vetoed a Wednesday that would have condemned the 1995 massacre of 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica during the Bosnian war as a “crime of genocide,” saying that singling out the Bosnian Serbs for a war crime would create greater division in the Balkans.

Two international courts have called the slaughter by Bosnian Serbs of some 8,000 Muslim men and boys who had sought refuge at what was supposed to be a U.N.-protected site genocide.

Russia’s U.N. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin objected to focusing only on Srebrenica, calling the resolution “confrontational and politically motivated” and stressing that Bosnian Serbs and Croats had also suffered during the 1992-95 war that killed at least 100,000 people.

Do the vodka-brains understand the difference between the “crime of war” and “‘War’ Crimes?”

The United States also has some of the worst human-rights abuses in history, the present day being no exception. Our “non-negotiable way of life” seems to be oppression, occupation, destruction, death, misery, taxation, corruption, machination and evil doing under the guise of free market capitalism. Globally speaking, there is no other country like the United States that even comes close to matching us for duplicity, deception, media manipulation, secrecy and fear-mongering. The United States leadership (an oxymoron if there ever was one) is comprised of the most corrupt, ill-advised and incompetent humans on the planet. We would lead the entire Earth of nations in malfeasance, arrogance, ignorance, incompetence and indifference to the human plight on the planet. Environmentally speaking, we are trying our hardest to be the most pollutive, toxic, wasteful, destructive and indifferent to the gigantic wasteland that we’re leaving behind. No thought whatsoever is being given to our future or how our descendents (if there be any) might live in the destroyed environmental conditions we leave behind in our insatiable and gluttonous quest for profits.

All this is just par for the course on the “way we do business”, ie., the business-as-usual model, a historical fact for American government and American business throughout the entire world. To top it all off, we then declare ourselves the “greatest country on Earth” in our incredible arrogance and ignorance, making ourselves one of the stupidest people on the planet.

Only our vast military and willingness of our evil and corrupt politicians to wield this dangerous sword over the heads of other nations and peoples has permitted this outrageous arrogance as we plunder the nations of the world for their cheap labor, free resources and puppet governments that we have erected. Our willingness to topple democracies, elected leaders, establish guerrilla resistance groups and support tyranny and dictatorships is also legendary. We’re duplicitous to the extreme, funding rebels, terrorists, torturers, corrupt leaders and evil enterprises as long as we deem it self-serving to our corporations and political interests, along with kickbacks, bribery, threats and back-room deals to the tune of billions and billions in secret profits and payoffs.

The United States is the most corrupt terrorist regime on the entire planet, bar none. Secret prisons, the world’s highest incarceration rate of its own citizens and torture chambers in the hundreds are also how we do business. No other nation comes even remotely close to our evil practices, all hiding under the magical fabric that tries to hide it all, “democracy”. This fabric is full of holes and can easily be seen through by simple examination of what we actually do. History is full of old and modern examples of the practice and principles by which this country truly operates, but rare is the American individual who has bothered to read or understand any of this. Most are easily appeased and fully satiated by their wide-screen t.v.’s with the titillating programming that passes for ‘entertainment’ and the incredible plethora of cheap and easily obtained consumer goods. We’re so stupid that we point to all these things declaring them our badge of honor and privilege.

As a people, Americans also lead the world in consumption, consumer debt, energy usage, greenhouse footprint, pollution and indifference to the suffering they are directly causing much of the rest of the world. We top the charts on poor education, high-school dropouts, bad medical care, lawsuits, judicial corruption, police brutality and our incessant demands for a “free ride” at the expense of everything else.

Americans, including all of our politicians, corporations and military people, are deeply corrupted and deceived into believing that we alone are the superior nation of humanity, deserving of all that we demand, by force or a stolen ‘inheritance’ as the “chosen people” of God, employing our extremely warped deceptions of Manifest Destiny, religious extremism, free market violence and predatory capitalism upon the entire remainder of humanity. We justify all this and so much more by the sheer facts of our incredible ignorance and indifference, “After all, just look around. Is not our blessings evident?” we say, as we trod upon the bones of the millions of lives we have exterminated. We wallow in our excesses like pigs, groveling and groping always for more, more, more, never realizing, never caring, remaining perpetually indifferent to the vast and incredible amounts of human suffering we are directly causing throughout the world with our sweat shops, resource extraction and forced compliance through monetary strangulation, military oppression and political manipulation.

Yes, we’re #1 all right, in all that is corrupt, evil, oppressive, destructive, and pollutive. In our arrogance, we are utterly indifferent to all of this, making us truly the most hated nation on Earth and with good reason. We top the list on everything, all that is evil and self-righteously declare that this too is our birthright.

Our day of judgement is coming, no nation on Earth can sustain such an evil empire for long.
