‘Theater of the Absurd’ is a form of drama that emphasizes the absurdity of human existence by employing disjointed, repetitious and meaningless dialog ridden with clichés, purposeless confusing and hopeless situations, and plots that are cyclical or absurdly expansive and lack realistic or logical development…
And then, of course, there was Dr Strangelove!
