Powerful quake strikes 76km ENE of Kathmandu, Nepal

Centered at 27.837°N, 86.077°E the quake occurred at a depth of 15.0 km (9.3 mi), reported USGS/EHP.

USGS models show possible fatalities of up to 1,000, with damages estimated at up to $100 million.
