M6.8 quake strikes NNW of Chirikof Island, Alaska

Centered at 56.694°N, 156.530°W (111km NNW of Chirikof Island, Alaska) the quake struck at a depth of , USGS/EHP reported.

Tsunami Evaluation: This quake did NOT generate a destructive tsunami.
Aftershocks: No significant aftershocks reported, as of posting.
