Hundreds Killed in Afghanistan Avalanches
Hundreds have been killed in recent avalanches in Afghanistan and the number is expected to rise, according to the authorities.
At least a dozen avalanches triggered by heavy snowfall this week, have buried multiple villages across several provinces in Afghanistan.
Panjshir province, north of Kabul, is said to be the worst hit area, with about 200 lives lost.
Hundreds of people remain cut off, with roads buried under heavy snow.
