  • Tennessee, USA.  Gov Haslam has declared a state of emergency for the entire state of Tennessee following Sunday’s flooding rains.
    • Rep. Matthew Hill has submitted a formal request to Gov. Haslam asking that Washington County and Johnson City be declared disaster areas, reports said.
  • Arkansas. Gov Beebe has declared a state of emergency due to Arkansas’s severe drought, as ranchers feed supplies continue running critically low.
    • The declaration authorizes issuance of special permits to transport round bales of hay on controlled highways for 30 days, reports said.
