M4.1 Quake Strike Near Los Angeles

Magnitude 4.1Mw earthquake strikes near Rowland Heights, California

 Centered at 33.961°N, 117.892°W the quake struck at a depth of about 9.4km, according to USGS/EHP.

The latest temblor  was the 14th quake measuring 2.5Mw or greater to strike the area since a magnitude 5.1 quake on Friday caused scattered damage around the LA area.

54 people Displaced

The Friday quake left at least 54 people displaced in Fullerton, about 8km south of the epicenter, due to damage to their homes, authorities said.

“The quake also shook items off tables, rattled chandeliers and resulted in scattered damage to cars and property, including setting off a rockslide in the Orange County city of Brea that flipped a car on its roof,” Reuters reported.

A swarm of at least 140 smaller aftershocks have rattled the area since Friday.

Google Inc. Continues to Filter, Block and Bury Information Posted on Fire Earth and Affiliated Blogs

Additionally, since at least the beginning of March 2010, nearly every entry posted on Fire-Earth, which show up in Google searches, point to Ning Network, diluting Fire Earth traffic by at least 50 percent.

To prevent Google and rest of the Internet Mafia from making financial gains by acting on the information provided, which they filter and conceal from the public, the Fire-Earth science advisory team have advised blog Moderators that as of today they have suspended all research into California’s seismic activity until further notice.

The  Fire-Earth science advisory team hereby advise their family members, friends, colleagues and all of the good people of California to relocate out of the state.

California Earthquake Forecast 2009

Magnitude 7.4 earthquake could strike California in 2009

FEWW Forecasts a magnitude 7.4 earthquake and two strong aftershocks (5.5+ Mw) striking California in 2009 with a probability of 0.8. The occurrence uncertainty is about 90 days from the estimated time. The epicenter is located in a built-up area.

Moderators are currently discussing the merits of disclosing further details of the event too early ahead of the forecast seismicity.
