NO Lesson Learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake

The so-called ‘Great East Japan Earthquake’ was a magnitude 9.0 (Mw) shock, the most powerful earthquake ever to have hit Japan, and the fifth most powerful earthquake globally in modern record.

The 3.11 Earthquake, centered at 38.322N, 142.369E was an undersea megathrust earthquake off the coast of Japan that occurred at 14:46 JST (05:46 UTC) on Friday 11 March 2011. The hypocenter was at an underwater depth of about 30 km.

The earthquake spawned powerful tsunami waves that reached heights of up to 41 meters in Miyako,  Iwate Prefecture, and traveled inland at least 10 km in the Sendai area.

The massive shock moved Japan’s main island of Honshu 2.4 m east toward North America and shifted the Earth on its axis by an estimated 10 to  25 cm.

The quake and tsunami double action left up to 20,000 people dead or missing (presumed dead), and more than 6,000 injured across twenty prefectures; destroyed  about 130,000 buildings, left a further 275,000  buildings  seriously damaged, and another 750,000 buildings partially damaged.

The earthquake and tsunami also caused extensive damage to the infrastructure in north-eastern Japan, including severe damage to roads and railroads, sparking fires in many areas, and causing a dam collapse.

“In the 65 years after the end of World War II, this is the toughest and the most difficult crisis for Japan,” said the then Prime Minister Naoto Kan.

Ongoing Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

IMPORTANT NOTICE:    The Internet Mafia has previously censored Public Health Emergency, global health warnings and any and ALL information posted on this blog concerning nuclear disasters, nuclear energy and the global nuclear mafia. The cabal have specifically blocked or buried blog entries on Fukushima Daiichi NPP.

The tsunami triggered by the Tōhoku earthquake on March 11, 2011 hit the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, causing a catastrophic failure, resulting in meltdowns at three of the plant’s six nuclear reactors.

The meltdowns became  the largest nuclear incident since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster measuring Level 7 on the International Nuclear Event Scale. More than 300,000 people evacuated the area due to the radiation.

To date no short term radiation exposure fatalities have been reported, however, up to 2,000 deaths related to the evacuation conditions have been recorded. The exact cause of most of the  evacuation-related deaths remain unspecified.

On June 11, 2011 in Japan’s Nuclear Industry: Mega Disaster in the Making, FIRE-EARTH noted:

In the hand of the Japanese ruling elite who own, operate and invariably fail to safeguard the country’s nuclear industry, the atomic plants have turned into weapons of mass destruction.

Japan’s ruling elite are the remnants of the same diabolic regime that painted the entire region red with human blood in the last century.

Japan MUST now be disarmed and its nuclear “weapons” removed BEFORE the next Mega Quake strikes the country.

The world community must force Japanese authorities to decommission all of their nuclear power plants forthwith.

Meantime, the deadly farce continues…

Japan Angry by Cartoon Linking Fukushima to Olympics

Posted by feww on September 12, 2013

“Thanks to Fukushima, sumo is now an Olympic sport.”

The cartoon shows two sumo wrestlers, each with an extra leg or arm, and missing toes or fingers, facing off with the Fukushima plant in the background as an announcer says, “Thanks to Fukushima, sumo is now an Olympic sport.” It was carried by the French satirical Le Canard Enchaine.

fukushima olympics connection
The caption reads: “Thanks to Fukushima, sumo is now an Olympic sport”, a reference to Tokyo’s successful bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games.

“This cartoon hurts the feelings of those who suffered through the Great East Japan Earthquake,” said Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, referring to the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that wrecked the Fukushima nuclear plant, triggering the world’s worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl.

[Surely, “those who suffered through the Great East Japan Earthquake” must be much more hurt by the imbecile government’s woefully inadequate response to the ongoing disaster, than a cartoon depicting their plights. More than 2 years on, some 300,000 people remain displaced. Editor]

“It is inappropriate and gives a wrong impression of the Fukushima contaminated water issue. It is extremely regrettable.”

Suga said Japan would lodge the complaint through the French embassy in Tokyo and that the Foreign Ministry had been directed to “thoroughly explain the situation” to avoid similar incidents.

Use FIRE-EARTH Disaster Forecasts at Your Peril

Since early 2011 the blog Moderators have been aware that the disaster forecasts posted on this blog have been used by major financial traders for trading stocks and forex.

In the latest instance, they’ve extrapolated the period between the time when Japan earthquake forecasts and certain other messages were posted on FIRE-EARTH and date of the Great East Japan Earthquake, using the sampling for their so-called “disaster trading.”

Let there be no doubt that the steps we’ve taken to prevent the abuse will continue to foil their attempts.

Japanese Authorities Lie Again

Posted by feww on June 16, 2011

Japan’s March 11 death-toll figures don’t add up: survivors

The ever-conspiring Japanese authorities say about 15,000 people died in the March 11 disasters and up to 8,000 are missing.  The survivors say count again!

In one fishing village alone about 9,000 are missing, the survivors say.

The village of Otsuchi had a population of 15,277, according to the  October 2010 national census, a report said.

Three months after the fateful Megaquake, followed by 15-meter high tsunami waves struck the village,  the local officials can “verify that 6,466 people are living: 1,969 people in shelters and 4,497 in homes on higher ground.” A quick head count of the survivors reveals that 8,811 must have perished.

Understandably, the village officials say the government numbers don’t add up.

FIRE-EARTH estimates that a total of about 46,000 people perished or are missing as a result of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami disasters on March 11, 2011.

Unfortunately, the Japanese government is not alone in falsifying disaster records.

Haiti Earthquake 2010

A year earlier, the Haitian government, aided by the international charity mafia, and their News Network, claimed at least a third of a million people had died as a result of the 7.1Mw quake that struck the capital of Port-au-Prince on January 12, 2010.

FIRE-EARTH believes that the number of deaths and serious  injuries from the quake could not have possibly exceeded 5,000 (FIVE THOUSAND).

Christchurch Earthquake

Earlier this year, the NZ government put the number of dead from the Christchurch earthquake at 181.

Reliable sources have informed FIRE-EARTH that many more  people [figure withheld by FIRE-EARTH] had actually lost their lives in that tragedy.

Japan’s Nuclear Industry: Mega Disaster in the Making

Posted by feww on June 11, 2011

FIRE-EARTH Editorial on the third month anniversary of Japan’s triple disaster and its triple nuclear reactor core meltdown

Today is the third month anniversary of the Tohoku Mega Quake [Great East Japan Earthquake] that shook the country off its rickety foundation.

In the past three months the world has learned that more than ever before Japan’s doomed Fukushima NPP and all of its other nuclear plants pose an existential threat to the entire region and beyond.

From 2011 Disaster Calendar – June Entry

  • [June 7, 2011]  Mass die-offs resulting from human impact and the planetary response to the anthropogenic assault could occur by early 2016.  SYMBOLIC COUNTDOWN: 1,744 Days Left to the ‘Worst Day’ in Human History
    • Japan. The ever-conspiring Japanese nuke officials have doubled estimate for the radiation that escaped from the doomed Fukushima NPP soon after the March 11 mega quake and tsunami from 370,000 terabecquerels to 770,000 terabecquerels, a report said. More people will have to be evacuated.
      • As FIRE-EARTH had suspected, complete core meltdown occurred at all three working Reactors 1, 2 and 3 at Fukushima NPP, with massive amounts of radiation penetrating the earth below. (See links below).

Probability of a Nuclear Disaster by Country

The following probability figures are calculated by FIRE-EARTH on April 8, 2011

  • Japan (880)³
  • United States (865)
  • Taiwan (850)
  • Belgium, China, France, Finland, India,  South Korea, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Armenia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania,  Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain,  Pakistan, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico,  South Africa, Canada (810)
  • Germany, Sweden, Netherlands (800)
  • Switzerland  (750)

Notes:

  1. The list represents a snapshot of events at the time of calculating the probabilities. Any forecast posted  here is subject to numerous variable factors.
  2. Figures in the bracket represent the probability of an incident occurring out of 1,000; the forecast duration is valid for the next 50  months.
  3. Probability includes a significant worsening of Fukushima nuclear disaster, and future quakes forecast for Japan.
  4. A nuclear incident is defined as a level 5 (Accident With Wider Consequences), or worse, on the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES). See below.
  5. Safety issues considered in compiling these lists include the age, number of units and capacity of nuclear reactors in each country/state, previous incidents, probability of damage from human-enhanced natural disasters, e.g., earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic activity, hurricanes, tornadoes, storms, wildfires, flooding… ]
  6. The  Blog’s knowledge concerning the extent to which the factors described in (3) might worsen during the forecast period greatly influences the forecast.

Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

Technicians at Fukushima NPP have begun removing highly radioactive water  from basement of Reactor 2 .

Authorities say a total of 70,000 tons of radioactive water is accumulated in the plant’s reactor and turbine buildings, and surrounding trenches.

Remote-controlled robots sent into reactor buildings 1, 2 and 3 on Sunday and Monday showed  radiation levels inside two of the units (1 and 3) were too high for humans.

A remote-controlled robot dubbed “Packbot,” capable of manoeuvring through buildings, taking photos, and measuring radiation levels, is photographed by another Packbot in the stricken Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant No.1 reactor building in Fukushima, N. Other News

“It was clear even before this disaster and the need to secure funds for reconstruction that to ensure a sustainable fiscal situation, some sort of reform of spending and revenues was necessary,” said Internal Affairs Minister Yoshiro Katayama. “The debate over the fiscal situation is not something that began with this disaster,” he told reporters.

A Japanese restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand has attached bells to its charity donation buckets after a thief stole cash intended for Japan’s earthquake and tsunami victims, a report said. “At least seven donation buckets in Japanese businesses around Auckland have been filched recently.”
