Death and Destruction Toll Rising in the Philippines

Point of No Return: In 2004¹,  our team forecast an 80-90 percent increase in the total power dissipated annually by tropical cyclones  in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans by 2015.

Storms will continue to get stronger (develop greater average intensities) and survive at high intensity for longer (take more time to dissipate peak energy) resulting in substantial increases in storm-related losses in the near future.

Sudden Surges in Atmospheric CO2: FIRE-EARTH Forecast

Posted by feww on July 23, 2013

Just when you thought it couldn’t possibly get much …

FIRE-EARTH Models show unprecedented surges in atmospheric CO2 concentrations starting 2014. The massive increases could be as much as 10 – 15 times any rises ever recorded.

To minimize abuse of this forecast by the usual culprits and dozens of newcomers, FIRE-EARTH won’t release further details at this time.

Critical Overload Threatens Planetary Life Support Systems

Posted by feww on July 6, 2013

Index of Human Impact on Nature (HIoN) skyrockets to a new high

The FIRE-EARTH/CASF Index of Human Impact on Nature (HIoN), an index for calculating the human impact on the planetary life support systems, climbed to a critically high level of 323 on July 1, 2013. In other words, the anthropogenic impact on the living environment exceeded 3.23 times the planet’s diminishing carrying capacity.

  • The index is rising exponentially.
  • HIoN has risen 38 points, or more than 13 percent, since July 2012 when it reached 285.
  • The index was less than 80 in 1960, and rose to about 100 in 1980.

“According to HIoN projections, our cities and population centers could become almost entirely unsustainable by as early as 2015.”

RAPID CHANGE IN PROGRESS!

Tidal Surge of Global Change 26 Times Faster in 21st Century: FIRE-EARTH

FIRE-EARTH Models show the rate of global change has intensified by a factor of at least 26 in the last decade compared with the 1960s.

FIRE-EARTH defines ‘global change’ as the deterioration in the planet’s life-support capacity, caused by large-scale anthropogenic impact, which is leading to a total collapse.

Homo sapiens had 12,000 years to get their act together!

The dippy primates have failed; they couldn’t get even remotely close to the vehicles that lead to the next phase. . . their idiotic road map led to absolutely nowhere!

Their abject failure occurred despite the breadth of knowledge that is being streamed. . .  and the tremendous volume of information in the form of clues and observation laid down for the less anointed ones. . .

An abyss of ignorance, however, prevented the humanoids from learning how to tune in. . . or interpreting the roadsigns. . .

Disaster Calendar – 7 July 2012 – Posted by feww on July 7, 2012

As of end-June 2012, the CASF Index of Human Impact on Nature (HIoN), an index for calculating the human impact on the planetary life support systems, stood at an astoundingly high level of 285. In other words, the anthropogenic impact on the living environment has now exceeded 2.85 times the planet’s diminishing carrying capacity.

WARNING: The 6th Great Extinction: Sooner Than Expected

Planetary collapse driven by man-made cataclysms

This blog has now been dedicated to the possible  ‘survivors’ of the planetary collapse forced by man-made cataclysms

Based on their research, EDRO Moderators Have concluded that a series of man-made cataclysms will drive the earth’s population to near extinction.

[This section was removed to ensure NO association WHATEVER could be made with “Rapture apocalypse prediction.”]

Most of the ‘survivors’ would be highly evolved, ethical and altruistic humans with the ability to overcome the immense difficulties they will have inherited . . .

Nevertheless, Moderators believe by identifying the major man-made obstacles that stand in the way, they could, for their part, help keep the flow of life on this planet uninterrupted.

2010: Year One of Human-Enhanced Disasters

  • In the next few years, YOU or someone close to you will likely have experienced a man-made, or human-enhanced ‘natural disaster.’
  • “About 99.98 percent of human effort goes to debilitate the ecosystems. In other words, for every single step taken to restore the natural life support services, humans take 6,400 steps in the opposite direction, destroying the planet’s ability to maintain life.” EDRO

WARNING: About 20 percent of the global population could perish by early 2016

FIRE-EARTH’s population model shows mass die-offs resulting from human impact on the planet and the planetary response to the anthropogenic harm  could occur by early 2016.

  • The mass die-offs would occur randomly.
  • Once triggered, the mass die offs would follow own momentum and dynamics.

On May 15, 2011 symbolic countdown to the ‘worst day’ in human history began..

THE WORLD WILL NOT END in 2012

Neither FIRE-EARTH nor EDRO MODELS SHOW the WORLD ENDING in 2012; but that the FIRST PHASE of CIVIC COLLAPSE WILL HAVE STARTED by then.

Humans continue to devour energy at a rate of 17.3terrawatt in 2011, when maximum ‘safe’ limit, our models show, is less than 1.9terrawatt.

Anthropogenic harm to the planet reached breaking point in the late 1970s, when the energy consumption rate exceeded 9.51 terawatts (9.51E+12 joules/second). By 1980 the consumption of energy had jumped to 3.12E+20 joules, or 9.89 terawatts.

WE BELIEVE the world will still be here in 2012, 2013, 2014 and beyond. However, in three years from now, it would be a far less habitable planet than it was even three years ago.

Earth: Wounded and Feverish

The planet is trying to stay alive!

Blog assessments are based on dynamic model simulations analyzing the environmental impact of excessive energy consumption. Moderators reject ALL END-WORLD PROPHECIES.

FIRE-EARTH Mission

To inform the blog readers on how their impact is destroying the planet, what the planet is doing to counter the human threats and when Earth’s final wave of counter-offensive would start.

Earth is Fighting to Stay Alive

The human impact on the planet is exponentially increasing resulting in major, back-to-back disasters globally.

Earth’s geophysical and climatic activities help the planet to stay alive and healthy. Earthquakes and volcanic activity are among natural phenomena that comprise our planet’s defense mechanisms. Whereas Earth’s magnetic field protects the planet against solar winds, CMEs and geomagnetic storms (‘external threats,’) the impact of harmful human activity on the planet (‘internal threats,’) are countered by other defense mechanisms.

Earth’s Terminal Energy – ETE

[First published in 2004/5 by PRO] Against the dreaded external world one can only defend oneself by some kind of turning away from it, if one intends to solve the task by oneself. There is, indeed, another and a better path: that of becoming a member of human community, and, with the help of a technique guided by science, going over to attack against nature and subjecting her to human will. ~ Freud

The psychotic industrial ‘civilization’ chose the ‘better path’ and ‘with the help of a technique guided by science, [went] over to attack against nature . . .’

Important NoticeUrgent WARNING!

Unless global energy consumption is reduced rapidly—by mid 2006—to levels below 60EJ/year (6E+19 joules/year), the runaway positive feedback loops that are destroying Earth’s ecosystems including ozone holes, global heating, extreme climatic events, toxic pollution, resources depletion, unethical conduct, war, and disease pandemics would reach the point of no return, overwhelm our life support systems and render most of our population centers uninhabitable by as early as 2015, possibly earlier, according to our dynamic energy models.

Failure to rein back global energy consumption to levels below 60 exajoules by June 2006 would render the concept of sustainable management redundant (it seems highly unlikely that post industrial civilization would voluntarily sacrifice its perceived privileges and values in favor of sustaining life on Earth). MSRB is replacing its current program with the planet rescue operations, PRO.
