Gas Pipeline Blast Kills Two Near Darrouzett, Texas
Two people were killed and three others injured, one of them critically, when a natural gas pipeline exploded in the Texas Panhandle, according to the local sheriff.
The explosion occurred near Darrouzett, about 270 miles northeast of Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday. On Monday, at least one worker was killed when a digger ruptured a natural gas line in Johnson County, about 50 miles southwest of Dallas, Texas.
Tuesday’s explosion occurred when a bulldozer struck a pipeline.
