Flesh-eating, “mite-sized sea critters” land teen in hospital

An Australian boy was hospitalized after being bitten and bloodied by swarms of flesh-eating, “mite-sized sea critters.”

Melbourne teenager Sam Kanizay, 16, went for a swim at the beach, but came out of the water bleeding profusely at both ankles. His father returned to the beach and caught a handful of the flesh-eating bugs.
